StatSheet now projects Baylor on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament with potentially a 12 seed. The Bears are ranked #67 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 17-11 overall record and an 8-7 record in the Big 12.
During the last four games, Baylor picked up a win against West Virginia but also suffered losses to RPI #20 Oklahoma and RPI #54 Iowa State.
Baylor is not that good against top competition, with a 4-9 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-7 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Bears have two quality wins including AP #15 Oklahoma State and RPI #46 Kentucky, they're also hampered by two bad losses including RPI #130 Northwestern and RPI #154 College of Charleston.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Alabama (19-9, 11-4 SEC, StatRank #62), Temple (19-8, 8-5 A-10, StatRank #41), La Salle (19-7, 9-4 A-10, StatRank #40), and Baylor (17-11, 8-7 Big 12, StatRank #59).
