StatSheet now projects Baylor as an NCAA Tournament bubble team with a possible 11 seed. The Bears are sitting at #55 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 16-8 overall record and a 7-4 record in the Big 12.
Over the last four games, Baylor registered wins against West Virginia and Texas Tech but also hit a setback with losses to AP #17 Oklahoma State and RPI #38 Iowa State.
Baylor is weak against top competition, with a 6-7 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-6 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 2-3 record against AP ranked teams. While the Bears have two quality wins including AP #17 Oklahoma State and AP #25 Kentucky, they're also dinged with a bad loss to RPI #136 College of Charleston.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Stanford (15-9, 6-5 Pac 12, StatRank #55), Virginia (18-6, 8-3 ACC, StatRank #81), California (14-9, 6-5 Pac 12, StatRank #59), and Creighton (20-6, 9-5 Missouri Valley, StatRank #50).
