StatSheet is now projecting Baylor as an NCAA Tournament bubble team but likely out unless it improves. The Bears are sitting at #70 in the StatSheet StatRank with a 16-11 overall record and a 7-7 record in the Big 12.
Over the last four games, Baylor picked up a win against West Virginia but also struggled mightily with losses to RPI #19 Oklahoma and RPI #51 Iowa State.
Baylor is weak against top competition, with a 5-9 record against the RPI Top 100 that includes a 2-7 record against the RPI Top 50 and a 1-4 record against AP ranked teams. While the Bears have two quality wins including AP #14 Oklahoma State and RPI #50 Kentucky, they're also dinged by two bad losses including RPI #120 Northwestern and RPI #154 College of Charleston.
The last four teams into the NCAA Tournament with at-large bids are Saint Mary's (24-5, 12-2 West Coast, StatRank #41), Tennessee (16-10, 8-6 SEC, StatRank #60), St. John's (16-10, 8-6 Big East, StatRank #56), and Ole Miss (20-7, 9-5 SEC, StatRank #59).
